R22 Refrigerant regulations

There is a huge number of R22 systems in the UK. It is now illegal to use any HCFC refrigerants to service or repair any air conditioning or refrigeration systems. If you are responsible for any equipment operating on R22 (an HCFC refrigerant), you should be either converting your current system or replacing existing systems with energy efficient equipment.
